Maseru, Oct. 17 — Democratic Congress (DC) Spokesperson, Mr. Serialong Qoo has defied allegations that DC Member of Parliament for Makhaleng Constituency, Mr. Mootsi Lehata was drunk during the vote of no confidence motion against the government in the National Assembly on Monday.
Speaking with the Agency on Tuesday, Mr. Qoo mentioned that no one has a right to start making such accusations against anyone, as they did not test him. “I have been a victim of such accusations during my tenure as a member of Parliament previously”.
According to the party’s Spokesperson, whose party is the main opposition in Parliament, Mr. Lehata presented his points in a manner he saw fit, that is choosing not to stand still among others, of which such is not a crime. “As Parliamentarians, flexibility remains part of the game,” he stressed.
