Qacha’s Nek, Oct. 25 — With just hours to go until the highly anticipated Mountain Marathon race, the registration doors remain open at Melele Ground, giving participants one final chance to join tomorrow’s race.
Initially set to close on October 17, registration was extended until October 22, and recently, Mr. Mosiuoa Nthakong, spokesperson for the Mountain Marathon 21 Pty Ltd organizing committee, cited overwhelming interest as a driving factor behind the extension.
This world-renowned athletics event will see athletes aged 17 and up tackling the rugged terrain from Ha Noosi to Melele Ground. Additionally, a special 5-kilometre race for Basotho participants will follow a route from Ha Manteko to Melele, underscoring the event’s community spirit and inclusivity. . .
