Mohale’s Hoek, Nov.16 — Improving Adaptive Capacity of Vulnerable and Food Insecure Populations in Lesotho, (IACOV’s) Component 1 Manager Mrs. Rorisang Kurubally, has on Thursday applauded Lithakaling villagers for sustaining their climate change adaptive projects exceptionally well.
This follows a visit by IACOV’s delegation to the site projects with an objective of checking them for understanding their implementation, since their establishment in 2017.
Mrs. Kurubally highlighted that the land which farmers are utilizing to grow fruits and vegetables in shade nets was once in a bad state, after being badly affected by soil erosion due to 2015 heavy rain fall, but villagers managed to rehabilitate the place, by filling dongas and ploughing grass. . .
