KB BRINGS SERVICES TO THE YOUTH

Mohale’s Hoek, August 31 — In an effort to bring health services closer to adolescent girls, boys and young women, Karabo Ea Bophelo (KB) has on Thursday held Service Day at the District’s race course. 

According to DREAMS Project Manager which is a program under Karabo ea Bophelo, Ms. Lineo Sooana Rats’iu said they are targeting adolescents from 10 to 24 years, with an objective of educating them about issues of HIV and AIDS and its prevention.

Sooana Rats’iu indicated that they have a program called Safe Space whereby they visit various community councils for a period of 9 months having dialogue with boys, girls and young women, concerning issues which they might be uncomfortable discussing with their parents, like teenage pregnancy and Sexual Reproductive Health, (SRH)
