Quthing, Oct. 17 — The Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Advocate Hlalefang Motinyane says timely justice delivery is important as it ensures that justice seen to be done, have positive impact on social welfare, economic development and protection of human, mostly children and people with disabilities.
The DPP said this at Quthing Justice Sector meeting held at the Magistrate in Upper Moyeni, organized by Legal Aid as part of activities for Support to the reform and Strengthening of governance in Lesotho Programme funded by European Union (EU) and Lesotho government.
She highlighted that the Programme is important as is being implemented to support justice sector in its daily activities to close gaps and further improve justice delivery in Lesotho for the benefit of different public groups including the disadvantaged.
