JOURNALISTS TO BE EDUCATED ON FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

Maseru, Feb. 22 — MISA Lesotho with the help of a local financial wellness and advocacy firm will hold a one-day money management and financial planning program for journalists in an event scheduled for Tuesday.

According to National Director of MISA-Lesotho, Mr. Lekhetho Ntsukunyane the discussions are expected to set out importance of money management and financial planning.

He said that the programme is intended to promote good money management skills and financial  planning, leverage on technology usage as it is predominantly used to unlock opportunities within the creative industry and as well as personal branding for individuals

Moreover, Mr. Ntsukunyane mentioned that the programs also aim at giving an insight on managing money because it is a non-aging historic problem that media practitioners are often confronted with and it is a challenge that needs to be rooted out because it requires them to have money and manage their finances.
