Maseru, March. 07 — The Southern Africa Branch of Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) will commemorate the 7th AnnualĀ Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW) in Maseru on March 16.
According to a press release from HWPL, the purpose of this occasion is to reflect on Lesothoās support for the DPCW and find ways to seek for National support.
It indicates that the event is going to be tied together with the commemoration of the legacy of King Moshoeshoe I which is celebrated annually on March 11.
It adds that HWPL and partner organisations will report on the progress of the DPCW internationally and domestically, indicating that participants will be given an opportunity to show their support by completing a membership form and expressing their support for DPCW.
The event is expected to bring together government representatives, Chiefs, Religious Leaders, academics, women and youth leaders and representatives from civil society organisations.
HWPL is an international non-governmental organisation whose work is to cease wars and promote peace. It is also working with political leaders, religious leaders, women and youth leaders and all organisations that are interested to implement religious scripture dialogues, peace education and the promotion of an international law of peace.
