Maseru, Feb.21—The government of Lesotho is committed to accelerating the digitalization of pre-primary, primary and secondary education.
Minister of Finance and Development Planning Dr. Rets’elisitsoe Matlanyane has said this during the 2025 / 25 fiscal year budget presentation.
She said the government has already built a capacity of 400 teachers to conduct classroom sessions using digital platforms.
She added that to address the challenges of poor access to education, the government will continue to construct inclusive educational facilities including classrooms and age-appropriate toilets across the country. While also providing classroom furniture for both learners and teachers.
