GIRLS SHOW INTEREST IN ROBOTICS

Maseru, Oct. 28 – More girls have shown interest in coding and robotics during an exhibition held in Maseru on  Saturday.

The initiative which was organised by ‘Ke Mosotho’ association, Limkokwing University of Creative Technology (LUCT), Arica Code Week and STEAMLES aims to instill the love for robotics among growing children and youth so as to be resilient in the world of technology, the Agency has established.

According to Refiloe Mosala of Hillsview, Maseru even though she is part of  girls who view robotics as boys and mens world, learning robotics seems to be  a must in the 21st century.

“It is no longer about our fear, it is about the world that is changing  that we are forced to change our mindset and adapt hence our participation today”.

She thanked the organisers of the exhibition, saying it will go a long way in building networks that will help them learn more and  grow their love for robotics.
