Maseru, Sept. 07 — The former Meraka Lesotho Abattoir and Feedlot who were fired from work in 2016 are still awaiting their judgement from the Labour Court.

Lesotho Workers Association (LEWA) Secretary General, Mr. Hlalefang Seoaholimo told the Agency on Thursday that 13 former Meraka Lesotho Abattoir and Feedlot workers are expected to get their judgement on Monday next week from the Labour Court.

He explained that after being fired for being members of LEWA, the 13 members challenged their firing at the Directorate of Dispute Prevention and Resolution (DDPR) and won the case.
