Maseru, May 12—Former Chief Executive of Lesotho Communications Authority (LCA) Ms. Mamarame Matela has on Friday had her review application before the Court of Appeal dismissed by the same court.
The applicant had filed the application asking the court to review its decision in which it had agreed with the High Court that it has jurisdiction to entertain a case between her and her former employer LCA.
Initially, LCA had approached the High Court requesting for its intervention as they want Matela to return the company’s properties which are in her possession. Matela raised an issue of lack of jurisdiction of the High Court to entertain the matter. The High Court through presiding Judge Justice Tseliso Mokoko held that it has jurisdiction and dismissed her application.
