Maseru, Mar. 19 — The Minister of Finance and Development Planning Dr. Rets’elisitsoe Matlanyane has proposed a 0.5 percent increase of Value Added Tax (VAT).
This she said during financial policy presentation in the National Assembly on Wednesday,
According to the Minister, the South African government has proposed the VAT increase of 0.5 percent thus this would contribute towards administration problems at border posts during declaration of goods.
