Mokhotlong Nov. 08 — The Acting District Electoral Officer for Mokhotlong Mrs. ‘Matoka Motloli has encouraged electors to re-register with the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) to enable the Commission to keep a clean voters list.
She said this in her brief remarks at the event to launch re-registration of electors held at the IEC district Office on Friday.
Mrs. Motloli explained that re-registration is done to address the event started with a sensitisation walk to the public on the initiative from Ntlholohetsane Lekhalong via the hospital area and back to the Office.
She further said the intension is to intensify pre-registration and enhance electors list as well as address challenges that include double registration experienced in past registrations. . .
