Maseru, Apr. 06 — Easter Road Safety campaign will kick start on April 14 in a bid to prevent road accidents ahead of Easter holidays.
According to Principal Road Safety Officer Mr. Setsoto Putsoa, the campaign is intended to ensure that all road users abide by road regulations in order to prevent accidents, with the focus on high accidents areas especially in the districts of Berea and Maseru rural.
He indicated that all road safety stakeholders who include traffic inspectors, members of the Lesotho Mounted Police Service, military police and the Judiciary will focus on overspeeding, overloading, drunken driving, conditions of vehicles and safety belts amongst others…
