Maseru, July 09 — Disaster Management Authority (DMA) issued a report regarding their findings about households damaged by heavy rainfall and windstorm.

DMA Public Relations Officer (PRO), Ms. Mahlape Koali mentioned that after heavy rains and wind experienced across the country last year, the DMA department conducted a survey to help the needy.

She indicated that after the survey, they found that there were houses that needed to be built while others were just a matter of fixing their roofing.

“The department started the process of building houses in Rothe with the support of the Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) where three houses were built,” she said.
