DEM PRONOUNCES MINISTRY’S STAND

Mohale’s Hoek, Aug. 26 — The District Education Manager, (DEM)Mrs. ‘Maposholi Posholi has pledged to make the Nutrition’s Month celebrations a success, inspite some scepticisms from some principals.

Mrs. Posholi stated this in an interview with the Agency by noting that even though the event comes at a crucial time when high schools will be writing their Mock examinations, the education office will show the unwavering support, as by doing they will be rallying behind His Majesty King Letsie III as FAO ‘s Special Goodwill Ambassador for Nutrition.

However, some teachers who seemed to be concerned about the timing of the event, stated that the Ministry is expecting good results, but ready to sacrifice 2 days for students to partake in a celebration which they noted could have been held earlier.

This follows a meeting between principals, teachers and the District Food and Nutrition Coordination Officer, Mrs. ‘Manyeoe Tsoho, who pleaded with teachers to support the event.
