Maseru, Mar.26– Cross-examination of Mahanyane Phusumane, an accomplice witness in a case in which four army members are charged with attempted murder of Former Editor of the Lesotho Times and Sunday Express newspapers Lloyd Mutungamiri, has been scheduled to continue on Tuesday next week.
The witness has already been cross-examined by one of the defence lawyers Advocate Letuka Molati and when the case was adjourned, he was being cross-examined by Adv. Karabo Mohau (KC).
Phusumane has had his initial evidence expunged and the court directing that it starts afresh. This was because the evidence was not recorded as recording machines were not operating following a viral attack on the recording system within the judiciary.
