Quthing, Feb. 28 — District Members Crime Prevention Committees (CPC) from different areas, and their counterparts from Eastern Cape (EC) in South Africa (SA)
gathered at Thokoana in Matatiele area Eastern Cape, to celebrate 25th anniversary of joint efforts in a fight against cross border stock theft on Thursday.
Speaking at the same event, a Mamber of Parliament for Mount Moorosi Constituency No. 67 Mr. Thuso Mosetlelo highlighted that the government of Lesotho appreciates initiative of farmers that who are also members of CPCs, to have been committed working hand in hand for years in a fight against cross border stock theft as this promote good relations between Leotho and South Africa.

Mr. Mosetlelo expressed need for invitation of CPCs from Quthing and Qacha’s Neck to Mokhotlong where cross border stock theft is currently a serious challenge for colleagues to take their good example and practice similar strategies, they used which have brought them up to this far where cross border stock theft is story of the past within their areas. . .
