COORDINATOR SPEAKS AGAINST GBV

Maseru, Nov. 16 — Basotho have been encouraged to continue learning about Gender Based Violence (GBV) in an attempt to stay protected against this form of crime especially during festive season.

This is according to the Coordinator GBV within the Anglican Church of Lesotho (ACL) – St. Mary and St James Cathedral Mrs. ‘Malehlohonolo Machapha, who further noted that together with Child and Gender Protection Unit (CGPU) – LMPS have formed partnership in an attempt to educate ACL members against this form of crime.

She explained that cases of this nature are rife in families with women becoming more and more victims of this type of abuse, the more reason Basotho should be cautious as far as this type of abuse is concerned. . .
