COMMUNITY EMBRACE MONUMENT DURING 200 YEARS

Thaba – Tseka, June. 27 — As the nation commemorates 200 years, some community members of Lihlabaneng, Ha Ratoko embrace the importance of prayer for restoration and reconciliation purposes.

At this village lies a monument where those passing pause for a moment, put a small stone on the statue and pray in a bid to ask for a peaceful journey as such has been the habit of Basotho elders in this village.

“Since 1992, when I arrived in this village, stopping at the statue point and worshipping has been the culture to the aged and the young as well”, Mr. ‘Musi Ratoko, under the office of Chief Likupa Letsie of Ha Ramats’eliso said it is imperative for the nation to bring back all habits believed to have developed this nation back then. . .
