CLEANING CAMPAIGN UP FOR DEBATE

Leribe, July.06 – While government ministries, businessmen and individuals are urge to join the “Operation Hloekisa Lesotho campaign which started in May 2023, most of the community sectors are not satisfied with it as they claim that other players are not partaking in cleaning.

This was revealed during an interview with the agency on Thursday, whereby most have stated that the campaign is a good initiative but no progress will be observed unless harsh laws are put into practice to maintain the cleanliness.

In an interview, one of the street vendors, Mr. Thabiso Buri said it is sad that Hlotse Urban council does not place the dust bins around town since the old ones were damaged some years back. . .
