CHAIRPERSON PROMOTES PARTNERSHIPS

Maseru, March 31 — The African Parliamentary Press Network (APPN) Lesotho Chapter Chairperson, has called journalists to work jointly with two Houses of the Parliament in order to report issues of the public effectively.

This after the National Assembly has successfully signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) intended to explore how best the two parties that are media and National Assembly can work together to promote quality reportage pertaining to matters of the House.

Therefore, Mr. Thoboloko Ntsónyane said a similar MoU is yet to be signed with the Senate following a media workshop recently.

He explained that now that those covering Senate matters have been groomed on issues pertaining to Senate processes, etiquettes’ and language the MoU will be signed and will cover a number of issues meant to promote quality reportage. AM/TL
