CERVICAL CANCER TO BE ELIMINATED

Maseru, March 05 — Different organizations held a worship service to strategize on different methods to eliminate cervical cancer as a public health problem in Maseru on Wednesday. 

According to EGPAF, cervical cancer is the most prevalent cancer among women in Lesotho, with an estimated 541 new cases diagnosed annually and 362 deaths occurring each year. 

This is as a result of a number of factors such as people reporting late to the hospital after the cancer has progressed, some due to lack of funds to seek medical attention…
