CASE TO FOLLOW NORMAL PROCEDURE 

Maseru, Sept.04 — The High Court through Justice Keketso Moahloli has ruled that a case challenging membership suspension of Mr. Thuso Makhalanyane and Dr. Mahali Phamotse from the Revolution for Prosperity (RFP) will not be heard on urgent basis therefore will follow normal procedure in order to be heard by the court. 

Following their membership suspension in the party by its National Executive Committee (NEC) Mr. Makhalanyane a Member of Parliament (MP) for Abia and Dr. Phamotse, an (MP) for Matlakeng sought intervention of the High Court and asked that the case be heard on urgent basis. 

The applicants asked the court to stay the decision of the RFP’s National Executive Committee to suspend their membership pending finalisation of the case. They also asked that the decision be set aside and be declared unlawful, null and void.
