Maseru, Apr.10– Lesotho Blood Transfusion Services (LBTS) has urged the public to donate blood in preparation for Easter holidays as he bank is already running dry.
LBTS Principal Laboratory Technologist, Mr.Khotso Kalake told the Agency in an interview that they managed to collect only 60 units of blood last week and suspect the number decreased due to rainy weather conditions, saying demand remains high but there is only one blood group in the blood bank.
