BEREA DIVISION OBSERVES RED CROSS DAY

Berea, Nov 09 — In commemoration of 56th anniversary, Lesotho Red Cross Society (LRCS) Berea Division has observed Red Cross Day through cleaning up one of their first facilities which used to be a clinic in Teyateyaneng.

The event was observed under the theme: “Everything we do comes from the heart”.

LRCS Berea Divisional Secretary Ms. Neko Hababa said the effort to identify such a building as their celebration venue was to maintain it as it  serves an entrance to Teyateyaneng town.

Ms. Hababa further said the building has a rich history to them as it was donated by one of the local business community members decades ago and was transformed into a clinic where health services were provided.
