Maseru, Feb. 20 — Chief Masupha Seeiso has urged Basotho to love and respect God. He said this at the memorial service of the late African Methodist Episcopal Church (AME) Reverend ‘Mapeete Pauline Mokhosi on Thursday.
The Chief said this on behalf of the Royal Family when consoling the bereaved family and the nation at Emmanuel AME Church, Maseru where many convened in honour of the late Reverend.
Amongst others, he noted the deceased will be remembered for her courageous character as she fought for the country’s independence hence enjoyment of democracy today.
“I personally know the deceased as we shared a lot of things in those days. She will be remembered for promoting peace in the country,” he stressed
Meanwhile, the Minister of Labour and Employment, Mr. Ts’eliso Mokhosi who is also close family member to the deceased said he has known her as an active politician back in the 1970’s, who was known to be brave and formed part of the interim Parliament back then. . .
