Maseru, Sept. 24 – Some of Basotho say the upcoming Local Government Elections are a waste of time, money and resources as they do not even understand them.
This they said in an interview with the Agency, four days ahead of Local Government Elections.
Speaking with one Mr. Jane Tsíu said he does not understand how local government elections are run, indicating that he does not see the importance of Councillors in Communities as majority of them do not have good relations with Chiefs yet they are supposed to work jointly in addressing the needs of the public.
