BANK ALLAYS FEARS OF CUSTOMERS 

Maseru, Jul.13 — The Lesotho Post Bank (LPB) has issued a statement assuring its customers and the general public that it does not disclose customer information to unauthorised third parties without customer’s written consent. 

According to the statement, the move to issue this communication was triggered by inquiries from some media houses regarding aspects of the bank’s lending, personal customers’ information, the ongoing regulatory inspection and its procurement operations. 

It has been indicated in the statement that the Bank is bound by section 45 of the Financial Consumer Protection Act of 2022 read with section 15 of the Data Protection Act of 2012 to observe customer confidentiality. . .
