Maseru- April 06 -Its all eyes on Moshoeshoe I International Airport as its rehabilitation continues and takes a new shape.
The airport, whose rehabilitation progress was slammed not only by some members of the public but also the Parliamentary Portfolio Committees including the Public Accounts Committee, seems to be promising.
Speaking in an interview with the Agency, the Minister of Public Works and Transport Mr. Matjato Moteane disclosed that the structural steel for roofing of the existing building is underway and expected to be completed in mid May.
“The upgrading has taken a new turn and the remodeling of the airport building is gradually beginning although it will be at a peak in June” he added.
He also said some walls will be demolished and reconstructed at the right place and expected to be completed by August…
