Maseru, April 06 — A young man aged 17 from Ha-Abia has shot his father who is 57 years of age to death after having a misunderstanding with his mother.
According to the Police reports, the Lance Sergeant Bokang Mokole from Lithoteng Police station indicated that the deceased was from his business in Nazareth, where he found his wife with her friend parking her clothes trying to leave home that is where they have a misunderstanding.
He showed that a man beat his wife and her friend ran away. He said a suspect arrived in the moment when his mother was kneeling down crying before his father who was holding 9mm shot gun.
He emphasized that a suspect got out to the other room where he returned having 7.65mm shot gun and shot his father with more than one bullets.
He clarified that a man loss his life immediately at the incident place. He showed that the guns were both legal.
He showed that a suspect has appeared in magistrate court on March 29 and has been released for the sake of his mother. He further showed that a man will appear again before court on April 27 this year.
Speaking in interview with the Agency, one of the village members who asked to remain anonymous said it is the first time a young man having case of killing a person.
He added that a deceased and the mother of a suspect had no good relationship for a long-time such that they fight Infront of the suspect, he therefore showed it seems like a suspect having been living with that pain till do date where he decided to shoot his father.
A village member showed that a suspect is a good child who is still schooling because he had not broken a law before.
