A MAN’S BODY IS DISCOVERED IN SENQU RIVER

Mokhotlong, April 2.–A body of a man who is alleged to have been washed away by the Senqu River was discovered by his family with the help of nearby villagers today.

This was stated by Haletjama Chief, Chief Masenate Letjama, in an interview with the Agency on Wednesday.

Mrs. Letjama mentioned that it rains heavily, making it dangerous for people to cross rivers. She pleaded with the community  to use the Ha-Mohale road, even if it is far, to avoid losing their lives.

Commenting on the measures they would take to advise communities to stop crossing the rivers during this rainy season, she said they are going to hold public gatherings, urging people not to put their lives in danger…
