A CALL FOR COLLABORATION, EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION

Botha-Bothe, Sept. 21 — Stakeholders in the district gathered yesterday to discuss strategies for raising awareness and adapting to climate change in various communities. The workshop, held in Botha-Bothe, aimed to unite efforts and streamline approaches toward climate change issues.

Addressing the District Disaster Management Team at the workshop, Ms. Rorisang Kurubally, Component Manager for the “Improving Adaptive Capacity of Vulnerable and Food-Insecure Populations in Lesotho” (IACoV) project, emphasized the importance of inter-ministerial cooperation in the fight against climate change. She explained that the project’s objective is to enhance the adaptive capacity and resilience of vulnerable households and communities in the face of climate change’s impact on food security in the country.
