Maseru, Aug. 02 — Water and Sewage Company (WASCO) has refuted the allegation that the shack, which burnt recently near Lerotholi Polytechnic (Fokothi) has affected water supply.
This was said by WASCO Public Relation Manager, Mrs. Lineo Moqasa in an interview with the Agency following allegations trending on social media which indicate that WASCO plant burnt on Monday due to fire which broke out near Fokothi and spread to the shack.
Mrs. Moqasa clarified that the company supplies water from Metolong thus it is not true that water supply has been affected due to the above mentioned incident, saying this abandoned shack was used a long time ago by a contractor and had no equipment inside.
