DPP ASKS FOR ANOTHER POSTPONEMENT

Maseru, July 07 — The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Advocate Hlalefang Motinyane has for the third time asked for a postponement in a case in which some members of the Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) are charged with the murder of Police Constable Mokalekale Khetheng.

After asking for postponement on Wednesday last week and Wednesday this week so that she could resolve issues in her office regarding two prosecution lawyers Advocates Shaun Abrahams and Motene Rafoneke who were seeking to withdraw from the case, she on Friday asked for the postponement so that she could prepare herself to take over the prosecution of the case.
