Maseru, April 01 — The Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Mr. Limpho Tau has explained that the Lesotho Defence Force Amendment bill 2025 which he tabled before the National assembly on Monday is not meant to favour any officer within the Lesotho Defence Force as speculated.
This he said at a press conference held at the government complex in Maseru on Tuesday.
In his remarks, the Minister showed that the bill is intended to develop the security service.
He indicated that the bill is also intended to ensure skills and capabilities as well as human resources stability which he said will help with the development of the Lesotho Defence Force as an institution. NT/TL
