RAMAKATSA CONFIRMS POSTPONEMENT OF PREMIER LEAGUE MATCHES

Maseru, April 01 — The Communications and Marketing Manager of the Premier League, Mr. Moeketsi Ramakatsa has confirmed the postponement of all Vodacom Premier League matches initially scheduled for this weekend.

According to Mr. Ramakatsa, the postponement is necessary because all match officials will be undergoing fitness tests on the same days the matches were set to take place, rendering them unavailable to officiate the games.

The Lesotho Premier League issued a circular on Monday informing all Premier League clubs of the schedule change.

Originally, the referees’ fitness tests were planned for Sunday, but the responsible committee has now confirmed that the tests will take place over two days, Saturday and Sunday.

However, this adjustment will not affect the fixtures scheduled for April 12 and 13.

The postponed matches include Liphakoe vs Manonyane, Linare vs LCS, Lijabatho vs Lifofane, Lioli vs Matlama, Ace Maseru vs Mzamane, Machokha vs Majantja and LMPS vs Bantu FC, which were schedulled for Saturday. PM/TL
