JOHNSON & JOHNSON DONATES TO BOTHA-BOTHE PRISON

Botha-Bothe, Feb. 26 – Botha-Bothe Correctional Service has received a donation of 107 shirts from Johnson & Johnson Factory in Maputsoe, strengthening a long-standing relationship between the company and the correctional facility.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Johnson & Johnson Factory Social Worker, Mrs. Matumane Mokhomo, highlighted the factory’s  support for the prison’s rehabilitation programs. She explained that for years, the factory has been donating leftover fabric to the correctional service to assist in the skills training of inmates.

“Since our partnership began, we have always sent fabric, but we had never visited the correctional facility. This time, as part of giving back to the community, we decided to sew shirts for the inmates,” she said… MM/ BM
