Quthing, Nov. 07 — The Quthing District Police Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Seabata Tutuoane has urged various departments in the district to observe inclusion of people with disabilities (PWDs) in public service e delivery.
Speaking at a one-day workshop held to present findings on assessment carried out to evaluate inclusion of people with different disabilities in service delivery, ACP Tutuoane said though lack of funds obstructs departments to upgrade service delivery for a accessibility to accommodate to accommodate PWDs.
The assessment has been carried out as part of Empowerment of Civil Society Organizations in Promotion and Protection of Human Rights (PPHR) implemented by World Vision and funded by European Union.
He highlighted the needs for departments not to despair, but annually budget for upgrading of service delivery for accommodation of PWDs to make changes step by step. . .
