CASE FAILS TO PROCEED YET AGAIN 

Maseru, Nov. 06 — A case in which some members of the army are charged with the murder of Maaparankoe Mahao which has failed to proceed since Monday as scheduled, has today, once again failed to proceed. 

The case could not proceed on Monday because the presiding judge, Justice Charles Hungwe, was not available. It was postponed to Tuesday but when it was to proceed, the defence through Advocates Letuka Molati and Qhalehang Letsika made application that their clients be taken for medical attention. 

Retired Army Commander Lieutenant General Tlali Kamoli together with Sergeant Lekhooa Moepi who are some of the accused in a case in which some army members are charged with the murder of Maaparankoe Mahao, have on Tuesday requested to be taken for medical attention.  

Legal representative for Retired Army Commander Lieutenant General Tlali Kamoli, Advocate Letuka Molati told the court that the officials of the Lesotho Correctional Service (LCS) refused to take his client to a dentist as he is experiencing a toothache.
