Maseru, Aug. 30 — At least eight members of the Board of Directors of the Lesotho Electricity Company (LEC) have filed an application before the High Court seeking its intervention following an attempt by the Minister of Energy and the Government of Lesotho to remove them as board members.

This is after they were on August 27, 2024 each served with show cause letters in which it was stipulated that their responses should submitted by end of business on August 29 2024.
