Maseru, June 18 — Mamello Special Needs Centre Principal and Founder says, throughout the winter season, the centre is engaged in a series of basic skills for children with physical disabilities.
Ms. Kefuoe Nkuoatsana said this in an interview with the Agency on Tuesday, indicating the intention is to give hope to these children despite their disabilities.
According to the Principal, they started with at least 42 children who are already studying at the centre this week, saying among the group also include children from other schools.
She said upon realisation that other students are unable to write yet are able to express themselves eloquently, the centre has thought in terms of giving them basic skills that include knitting, manicure and pedicure amongst others so that they are able to fend for themselves.
