LeFA CRIES FOUL OVER RESCHEDULING OF COSAFA CUP

Maseru, May 31 — The Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) says the rescheduling of the regional COSAFA Cup which was initially scheduled to kick off on June 14 but has since been set to start on June 19 to June 30 has left a bad taste in the Association.

LeFA Secretary General Mr Mokhosi Mohapi told the Agency on Friday that the Association had initially planned that immediately after the Group C World Cup qualifier against Rwanda that will be played at the Moses Mabhida stadium, Likuena players will remain in Durban.

However, he said if this new development, it means that the Association will have to start new arrangements altogether, saying this has caused them inconvenience.

Nonetheless, he said there was nothing they could do but to soldier on under the circumstances, saying the team will return back home on June 12 by road after the Rwanda clash.
