Qacha’s Nek, May.13 — The 2025/26 national pre-budget consultation kicked off in Qacha’s nek today.
The nation-wide initiative held by the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning through the Department of Budget with the support of the United Nations Population Fund (UNICEF) and First National Bank (FNB) aimed at mapping strategies that will take the country’s economy forward.
Speaking at the event, Ministry of Finance Budget Controller Mrs. Maleshoane Lekomola-Danziger said this occurs during the bicentennial celebration of 200 years which calls not only for future plans but also reflection on the past.
