LMPS RECEIVES FINGERPRINT KITS FROM AMERICAN EMBASSY

Maseru, Feb.12 — The American Embassy through its Ambassador designated to the Kingdom of Lesotho has on Monday donated 22 fingerprint kits to the Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS).

While handing over the kits, the Ambassador Ms. Maria Brewer said that this initiative comes in as support from the United States of America in support of the Lesotho government in enhancing the country’s security sector.

She stated that she hopes with the kits, the Police will be able to enhance their investigative capabilities while also strengthening the security platforms.

She said that the donation also comes in as a way in which the Police are being empowered to do their jobs and to foster security. . .
