IDENTITY OF MINERS DEAD AT IMPALA PLATINUM REVEALED

Maseru, Dec. 15 — The identity of four Basotho mineworkers who died last month when the lift transporting them from work jammed, have been revealed by the Director of Consular Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations on Friday.

Mr, Japane Mtambo said one of them is Mr. Marumo Shasha of Linakeng in Botha-Bothe, Mr. Raselebeli Ntoi of Mpharane, Leribe, Mr. Morena Mohlomi from Mohale’s Hoek and Mr. Lethola Qepe from Quthing.

The Director Consular Affairs said Mr. Ntoi will be buried this coming Saturday at his home in Mpharane in the Leribe district while Mr. Qebe’s remains will be laid to rest on December 32 in Quthing.
