MABUSELA SWORN IN AS NEW MP

Maseru, Oct 25 – A member of Movement for Economic Change (MEC) Mr. Chaba-seile Mabusela was sworn in as a new Member of Parliament (MP) in the National Assembly despite objections from the opposition members on Wednesday.

Mr. Mabusela was sworn in by Clerk of the National Assembly advocate Lebohang Maema amidst noise from the opposition members who stood up in vain to stop the swearing in.

Speaker of the National Assembly Mr. Tlohang Sekhamane said he had written to Mr. Mabusela to come to the House for the swearing in following the resignation of Socialist Revolutionaries (SR) member advocate Mamarame Matela earlier this month.
