6750 BENEFITS IN CASH FOR WORK PROGRAMME 

Qacha’s Nek, May.15 — The District Disaster Management Authority (DMA), Disaster Manager Mrs.’Mats’itso Motemekoane says 6750 Melele will benefit from the six months community-based cash for work initiative to reduce hunger.

This she revealed on Wednesday during the District Disaster Management Team (DDMT) meeting aimed at action plan development for targeting and identification of operation sites.

Mrs. Motemekoane said the project starting from June 3 to November 2024 will be open to all rural poor who are in need of wage employment. 

However, she said there will be exceptional cases where others will get paid without working if they are vulnerable yet unable to work due to several reasons. . .
